MY STORY

I have the privilege of being the wife of a wonderful husband and the mother of four amazing adult children.  I wanted my family to experience a love for a wide variety of foods and flavors.  I started slowly with simple cooks and bakes. I involved my children in helping me with the preparation and then we shared the bounty together and with others.  Over time, I added new recipes and new techniques for making food tasty.  It was through this process that I learned how much I enjoyed creating delicious food.  As my children grew up and began to move out of our home, I worked for a time in a professional kitchen.  When the pandemic made that an impossibility, I realized that I needed to find a new way to connect with others through food.  Thus, the idea for Fresh from Home was born.  I am excited to continue to bake homemade pies and cookies for you and your loved ones.
